Ring opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone initiated by titanium and vanadium complexes of ONO-type schiff base ligand

چکیده

Abstract A phenoxy-imine proligand with the additional OH donor group, 4,6- t Bu 2 -2-(2-CH (OH)-C 6 H 4 N = CH)C 3 ( LH ), was synthesized and used to prepare group 5 complexes by reacting Ti(O i Pr) LTi ) VO(O LV ). All new compounds were characterized FTIR, 1 13 C NMR spectroscopy single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. The as catalysts in ring opening polymerization of ε-caprolactone. influence monomer/transition metal molar ratio, reaction time, temperature well complex type investigated detail. showed high moderate activity ε-caprolactone resultant polycaprolactones exhibited M n w /M values ranging from 4.0 · 10 18.7 g/mol 1.4 2.5, respectively.
